Your Deep Clean: Instructions & Service Terms
Please read this before your appointment. It explains what to expect, how to prepare, and how we handle any change in scope or price.
Before your cleaners arrive
- Please clear floors, counters, tables, and other surfaces you would like cleaned. Tidying and organizing are not included unless they were discussed and quoted in advance.
- Put away valuable, fragile, or sentimental items. We are careful, but this helps prevent avoidable accidents.
- Secure any aggressive pets and let us know about pets, access instructions, parking, or anything else the crew should know before arriving.
- If someone in the home has a fever or contagious illness, please contact us as soon as possible so we can safely reschedule.
What a deep clean covers
A deep clean is a detailed reset of the home: bathrooms, kitchen surfaces, baseboards, reachable fixtures, doors, trim, floors, and the other items included in your booked package. See the full cleaning checklist for the exact scope.
Cleaning is not restoration. Heavy buildup, permanent staining, hard-water damage, oxidation, grease, or long-neglected surfaces may improve substantially without returning to “like new.”
Estimate, condition, and pricing
Your quoted price is based on the size of the home and the information provided when you booked. The crew will do an initial walkthrough before starting. If the actual condition or scope is materially different, we will explain the change before any work begins.
If an adjustment is needed, you may accept the updated price, keep the original price and have the crew complete as much as that budget allows, or decline the service before work starts. There is no cancellation fee for an ordinary estimate adjustment; undisclosed hazardous conditions, infestations, feces, or toxic mold are handled under our customer guidelines.
During the appointment
- You may stay home or leave while we clean. If you leave, please make sure the crew has the access information they need and a way to secure the home when they finish.
- Our cleaners can move light items and light furniture. For safety, they cannot move heavy furniture or climb higher than two ladder steps.
- Please keep pets from undoing freshly cleaned areas. Work redone by a pet after cleaning is not included.
Payment and walkthrough
A debit or credit card must be on file before the appointment. We do not charge it until the job is complete and you have had an opportunity to review the work. If you are not present, we allow up to 24 hours for your walkthrough before charging the card; a hold may be placed at the 24-hour mark.
If something inside the agreed scope was missed, please tell us right away so we can make it right. Any suspected crew-caused damage must be reported within 24 hours of the service start time, with the item saved for review when possible.
Changes, cancellations, and questions
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late changes may be subject to a $50 fee. If the crew arrives and cannot perform the cleaning for a reason outside our control, the charge may be 50% of the booking or $150, whichever is lower.
