Your Moving Clean: Instructions & Service Terms
Please read this before your appointment. It explains how to prepare the property, what the service covers, and how we handle changes in condition or scope.
Before the appointment
- For the best result, the home should be empty and free of boxes, furniture, trash, and personal belongings before the crew arrives.
- Please make sure water and electricity are on, and provide confirmed entry, parking, lockbox, alarm, and gate instructions before the appointment.
- Let us know about pets, damage, construction dust, smoke, pests, mold, or any condition that may affect the service.
- Please remove valuable, fragile, or sentimental items. We are careful, but emptying the property is the safest way to prepare it.
What a moving clean covers
A moving clean is a detailed service designed for an empty or nearly empty home. It includes the standard deep-clean scope plus detailed work inside empty cabinets, drawers, closets, the oven, refrigerator, and other accessible interiors that are part of your booked package. See the full cleaning checklist for the exact scope.
This is a cleaning service, not restoration or repair. Permanent staining, paint damage, heavy smoke residue, hard-water damage, oxidation, adhesive, grout damage, or long-neglected buildup may improve without returning to “like new.”
Estimate, condition, and pricing
Your quoted price is based on the home size and the details provided when you booked. The crew will do an initial walkthrough before starting. If the actual condition or scope is materially different, we will explain the change before any work begins.
If an adjustment is needed, you may accept the updated price, keep the original price and have the crew complete as much as that budget allows, or decline the service before work begins. There is no cancellation fee for an ordinary estimate adjustment; undisclosed hazardous conditions, infestations, feces, or toxic mold are handled under our customer guidelines.
Access and appointment expectations
- You do not need to be present, but the crew needs reliable access and a way to secure the property when finished.
- Our cleaners can move light objects only. For safety, they cannot move heavy furniture, appliances, or large piles of belongings.
- Please schedule the cleaning after movers have finished. Additional cleaning caused by movers, contractors, painters, or other workers entering afterward is not included.
Payment and walkthrough
A debit or credit card must be on file before the appointment. We do not charge it until the job is complete and you have had an opportunity to review the work. If you are not present, we allow up to 24 hours for your walkthrough before charging the card; a hold may be placed at the 24-hour mark.
If something inside the agreed scope was missed, please tell us right away so we can make it right. Any suspected crew-caused damage must be reported within 24 hours of the service start time, with the item saved for review when possible.
Changes, cancellations, and questions
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late changes may be subject to a $50 fee. If the crew arrives and cannot perform the cleaning for a reason outside our control, the charge may be 50% of the booking or $150, whichever is lower.
