Your Recurring Clean: Instructions & Service Terms

Please read this before your first appointment. It explains what a recurring clean covers, how to prepare, and how we handle changes in scope or price.

What a recurring clean is

A recurring clean is a standard maintenance clean on a set schedule. It is not a deep clean and it is not a first-time reset of a neglected home.

The quoted price assumes a normally dirty home. Heavy buildup, long-neglected surfaces, or a one-time reset need a different service and a different quote. See the full cleaning checklist for the Standard Clean column.

Before we arrive

  • Cleaning is not tidying. Please have personal items, dishes, toys, laundry, and clutter picked up so the team can spend the appointment cleaning.
  • Clear floors, counters, tables, and other surfaces you would like cleaned. Tidying and organizing are not included unless they were discussed and quoted in advance.
  • Put away valuable, fragile, or sentimental items. We are careful, but this helps prevent avoidable accidents.
  • Secure any aggressive pets and let us know about pets, access instructions, parking, or anything else the crew should know before arriving.
  • If someone in the home has a fever or contagious illness, please contact us as soon as possible so we can safely reschedule.

During the appointment

  • You are welcome to be home. You do not need to be. If you leave, please make sure the crew has the access information they need and a way to secure the home when they finish.
  • Our cleaners can move light items and light furniture. For safety, they cannot move heavy furniture or climb higher than two ladder steps.
  • Please keep pets from undoing freshly cleaned areas. Work redone by a pet after cleaning is not included.

Estimate, condition, and recurring rates

Your quoted price is based on the size of the home and the information provided when you booked. The crew will do an initial walkthrough before starting. If the actual condition or scope is materially different, we will explain the change before any work begins.

If an adjustment is needed, you may accept the updated price, keep the original price and have the crew complete as much as that budget allows, or decline the service before work starts. There is no cancellation fee for an ordinary estimate adjustment; undisclosed hazardous conditions, infestations, feces, or toxic mold are handled under our customer guidelines.

From time to time we may adjust recurring rates. If that happens, we will give you at least 30 days' notice.

Payment and walkthrough

A debit or credit card must be on file before the appointment. We do not charge it until the job is complete and you have had an opportunity to review the work. If you are not present, we allow up to 24 hours for your walkthrough before charging the card; a hold may be placed at the 24-hour mark.

If something inside the agreed scope was missed, please tell us right away so we can make it right. Any suspected crew-caused damage must be reported within 24 hours of the service start time, with the item saved for review when possible.

Changes, cancellations, and questions

Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late changes may be subject to a $50 fee. If the crew arrives and cannot perform the cleaning for a reason outside our control, the charge may be 50% of the booking or $150, whichever is lower.

These recurring-clean instructions work alongside our full Customer Guidelines. Questions before your appointment? Call (208) 205-9993 or email info@lonestarcleaningsolutions.com.
